Runs four main grant funding streams of Discretionary Grant Aid;
the Small Grants Programme, the Annual One-Off Funding Programme, a Three Year On-going Revenue Funding grant and the Pride Community Chest.  The Small Grants Programme does not consider applications over £1000 and is aimed at community groups/projects.  The other programmes will consider applications in excess of £1000 have strict criteria.  Guidelines can be viewed by clicking on the relevant programme above.
The council also manages The Hedgecock Bequest.  The latter is a trust fund that earns distributable funds of around £24,000 p.a.  Mainly given out in amounts of a couple of hundred pounds and claims in excess of £1000 are not considered.  There is no application form, applicants should write in, outlining their project and including any supporting documentation. No individuals unless they can show a community benefit.
